Kedar Jadhav Returns To IPL! RCB Name Ex-CSK Batter As Replacement for English Pacer

Royal Challengers Bangalore have taken their punt on catching on to the theme of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) of veteran cricketers like Piyush Chawla, Amit Mishra, Mohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, and Ishant Sharma; who were written off, and have achieved redemption by signing veteran Indian batter Kedar Jadhav for the remainder of the season.

Kedar has replaced English pacer David Willey in the RCB squad. Willey is now the second mainstream overseas pacer, RCB lost him to injury and he joined national teammate Reece Topley in the list. Meanwhile, Josh Hazelwood is also yet to play a game for the Faf du Plessis-led outfit this season.

Kedar last featured in the 2021 season for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The 38-year-old went unsold in the 2022 mega auction while not even being among the final shortlist in the 2023 shortlist. Kedar has previously played for RCB in 2016 and 2017.
